fisdMessage 1.0-beta Specification

The fisdMessage specification defines a standards-based way of delivering XML content like MDDL between a data provider and consumer. The specification is open for all to use as is directed by our members.

Pending Considerations:

  • 2003/12/15 - See page 8 of the Specification.
  • 2003/12/16 - Permit the name and desription of a field or template to be in languages in addition to English.
  • 2003/12/16 - Clarify references to "integer" as signed or unsigned where appropriate.
  • 2003/12/16 - The current field update scheme assumes that the index field is unique amongst ALL instances of ALL templates. Is that tenable?
