The following information should help identify modifications made for "mddl 2.3-beta" that may affect your current
implementation or understanding of MDDL. Although releases with only an increased ".x" number are intended to be
backward compatible, no other 2.x release is in production (i.e. "final") so this may not be the case. Please remember
that beta releases may be changed at any time to add, correct, or otherwise modify the release as necessary during the
implementation (for "draft") and evaluation (for "final") phases for each release. The number included with each
item is a tracking number - please use it when corresponding with questions or comments.
MDDL 2.3-beta
- #117 - Added support for Boolean containers - specifically linked has changed types (no change to structure).
- #118 - Retyped "segmentIdentifier" as a container rather than a URI (thus a URI is not required).
- #123 - Added "paymentDelay" for "interestPayment" and "principalRepayment".
- #124 - Added "code" (for pool type, etc.) to "collateralType".
- #125 - Moved "taxation" from "regulatory" to "jurisdiction".
- #130 - Added "dividend" to "preferredClass", "depositaryClass", and funds.
- #132 - Moved "instrumentType" into "instrumentData" - should not affect existing documents based on inheritance.
- #035 - Changed "volume" to be a container like "ask", "bid", etc.
- #133 - Added "crossrate" as a peer of currency and corrected structure.
- #134 - (2003/12/05) Removed redundant uses of "sequence". It is now in the header and lowest level domain/class/subclass only.
- #135 - (2003/12/05) Added "modification" to "issueData" for change type and time.
- #136 - (2003/12/05) Added "orderbook" to all locations where "ask" and "bid" are used.
Other Changes (not necessarily exhaustive)
- #120 - Added link to SVG installation on schema doc pages.
- #126 - Clarified that issueData 'country of incorporation' applies to issuer.
- #127 - Added the "ratingType" controlled vocabulary.
- #128 - Added 'merged' and 'acquired' to the "partyStatusType" controlled vocabulary.
- #129 - Added SIC, NAICS, GICS to the thirdParty.xml
- #131 - Added FTID to thirdParty.xml and sorted alphabetically.
